This "major remodel" left only a few walls in the same place and the entire home was rebuilt.  What began as a traditional 1600 square foot California ranch-style home transformed into approximately 3300 square feet of transitional living space that still looks at home within the surrounding neighborhood.  There are miles of trim in this custom home with soaring ceiling heights and designs (barrel vault, coffered and tray ceilings throughout) that give this home a spacious feel.  Skylights flood every interior room with natural light along with the main entry hall, kitchen and even outdoor lanai.  This home has many custom features:  herringbone solid wood floors, extra tall interior doors and hardware, millwork and cabinetry, home automation featuring electronically controlled window treatments as well as various other household systems, and a folding door that opens onto the outdoor covered lanai with fireplace.  All these details yielded an exceptional home for indoor and outdoor living and entertaining.
